What The Hell Do I Do?"
Your Gut Already Knows. You Just Can't Hear It Over The False Alarm
It's 11:47pm and you're still working on that client proposal for tomorrow. You promised yourself you'd finally raise your prices this time. Now your cursor's sitting on the number, and you're already talking yourself out of it.
Your chest is tight. Your thoughts are going in circles and you're getting nowhere. You keep telling yourself to just send it, and you still can't.
This is your survival brain doing exactly what it's wired to do. It’s keeping you safe every time ‘danger’ shows up.
Let me show you why. Then I'll show you exactly what gets you out of it, in under five minutes, any time you need it.
Doubt Isn't A Character Flaw, It's Biology
Your brain doesn't know the difference between real danger and perceived danger, like that cursor sitting on the price. It just knows something feels risky, and its whole job is to protect you from risk.
Survival goes first, rational thought comes later…usually when it's too late.
You're not weak for feeling stuck. Every brain does this under pressure, mine included, and every founder and operator I've ever sat with.
Here's the good news. Once you know it's biology, you can actually do something about it. Quiet the false alarm first, then make a decision that aligns with your goals, not your fear.
THE THREE STATES BEHIND EVERY DECISION YOU’VE EVER MADE
Humans operate from three states.
Green, or Flow.
Your breath is steady, you're relaxed but energised, and you can zoom in and out on a problem. This is where your best decisions come from without fail.
Red, or Reactive.
Your chest tightens, your thoughts narrow as if you had blinkers on, and everything feels urgent. So you overreact and fix the wrong thing fast.
Blue, or Checked Out.
You need a bucket of coffee to feel awake, your mind goes foggy, decisions feel impossible. You know exactly what you should do, and you still can't make yourself do it.
Here's what I love most after years of coaching: the people who handle pressure best aren't born this way. They've learned to read which state they're in, and how to get back to Flow before they react.
Feedback
"Rita was an amazing guest for our media buyer community. She took a genuinely meaty topic that isn't talked about enough and delivered it as a tight, interactive 1 hour session. Beyond the material, she was a real pro to work with - flexible with timing, came extremely prepared, and overall a pleasure to work with throughout. I'd highly recommend her!"

What to expect
She delivers engaging, high-energy sessions that blend teaching with live regulation exercises, real stories from the coaching room, and honest conversation.
Whether it’s a 30-minute podcast interview or a 90-minute team workshop, your audience will leave with both a shift in perspective and practical tools they can apply immediately.
Your results aren't determined by how hard you work, they're determined by the state you're in when you make decisions.
Rita Ainsworth spent over a decade in performance marketing, she burned out twice before walking away at the peak of her career.
That sent her deep into the science of stress, and a counterintuitive discovery - pausing and resetting is often the highest-leverage thing you can do in a high stakes situation.
She now coaches founders, operators, and marketers on how nervous system state shapes performance, decisions, and leadership.
